Update: After less than a year, the engine blew. Turns out it did not have the originial motor, but had an '08 engine, which is the year we were avoiding due to known engine issues. Not only that, but the engine had almost 170k miles, and it was marketed as a '09 350 with 70k miles, which the odometer had. So a $20k truck turned into $30k+ truck. I didnt bother contacting them, because it had been over a year & they are far away. So either they are the ones who swamped out the engine, or their mechanic is so dumb that he couldnt tell that it had been swamped out. Original Review: Found a '09 F-350 truck listed on Carfax at Alsteen Automotive. We needed to add an additional truck for our business, and with the current vehicle and part shortages, this was becoming difficult and costly to find. We are from the Chicago area, and we were nervous about having to travel so far to get a truck. Called ahead and asked that they hold the truck till we got there. We were assured that they would. We drove the 3-3.5 hours to check out the Truck, and as promised it was there. Completely friendly and answered any questions that we had. We decided to purchase the truck after test driving it, and overall are extremely happy with it. We have had the truck for almost 3 months and no major issues or red flags. Used dealers can be a bad experience, but this dealer sets the standard they should all follow. I highly recommend them!!

My daughter purchased her first car at Alsteen's and had a great experience! Our salesperson, Jordan, was upfront about the vehicle and the purchase price. A few weeks after purchase, the "Check Engine" light came on, we contacted the Alsteen's and they said bring it right in and they will look at it. They fixed (no charge) a minor error code and had the car back to my daughter within a day. We just recently purchased a second vehicle from Alsteen's, it was the end of the day right before closing and Jordan still offered to wash the van and fill up the tank with gas! This is a honest dealership that is upfront, thorough and fair.

I had the greatest and easiest experience with buying my second vehicle. I live a couple hours away and communicated via Facebook and email to have everything set to go as soon as I got to the dealership. Jordan was my salesman and he was outstanding and helped with all my questions and made sure I had a great experiencing buying a vehicle.
